2 c. milk (scalded)
1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs - separate yolks and whites
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg yolks, add 3 tsp. sugar and salt. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly. Cook until mixture coats a spoon. Cool, add flavoring. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold in 1 T. sugar. Drop by teaspoon on custard. Chill thoroughly. If desired, a portion of egg whites may be folded in the custard before chilling.
