3/4 c oatmeal
1/2 c melted shortening
1 c brown sugar
1 c flour
1 tsp cinnamon
4 c diced rhubarb
1 c water
1 c granulated sugar
2 T cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix oatmeal, shortening, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon together until crumbly. Press half of mixture in a greased 9 in x 13 in pan. Put rhubarb into saucepan. Add remaining ingredients and cook over low heat until clear and thick. Pour over crumb mixture. Top with remaining crumbs. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
