1/2 c mashed potatoes
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c butter
2 c scalded milk
1 T dry yeast
2 beaten eggs
2 c flour
1 t salt
1 t baking powder
1/2 t baking soda
3-4 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine mashed potatoes, sugar and butter in large mixing bowl. Add scalded milk and cool to tepid (110 degrees F) Add yeast, beaten eggs, 2 c flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda; beat thoroughly.
Gradually add 3 to 4 c flour to make a meduim soft dough. Knead 2 minutes on a floured board, place in greased bowl, cover tightly and refrigerate overnight.
Weh ready to use, cut dought into 4 pieces. Roll each piece into a round shaped, spread liberally with melted butter or margarine, cut into 12 pie shaped wedges and roll from the large end to the point. Place on a greased baking sheet, cover with clean cloth or waxed paper and let raise 2 hoolurs. Bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees F. Makes 48 rolls.
