6 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
3/4 c. butter
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
4 tsp. baking powder
Flour to make soft dough

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs and sugar together. Add melted butter and mix well. Add milk and dry ingredients and enough flour to make soft dough. Roll out to 1/2 inch thick and cut. Fry in oil until golden brown. Frost or dip in sugar.
Can also dip in cinnamon sugar.

Mrs. Vogel lived in our basement when we growing up. She was an excellent cook and fun to be with. I remember going to visit her after she had moved.
