In a bowl, dissolve:
1 env. dry yeast
1 1/2 C warm water
Add:
1 T. sugar
1 t. salt

4 C flour.

Directions:
Directions:
Blend in 4 cups flour. Turn the dough onto counter and knead until smooth and elastic. Cut dough in half and then half again. Cut 4 pieces of dough in to thirds. Roll in ropes and knot. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheets at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
