Gumbo Recipe

Boil 2 pounds of chicken breasts or if you don't mind the work 2 chickens. Save broth. Deboned chicken and/or cut up chicken
2 pounds cooked shrimp
1 pound frozen okra chopped
Bunch of green onions chopped
2 large green peppers chopped
2 bottles stewed tomatoes
Smoked sausage-Sliced
Salt & Pepper to taste
Gumbo File' spice
Bunch of parsley

1 cup Oil
1 cup Flour
Brown carefully until caramel color. Add a little of gumbo to rue to cool it down before adding it to the pot. Stir until thickened some.

Add shrimp and sausage last.

Enjoy over rice or just eat it plain.
