1 - 2 lbs. Fresh string beans - stem end snapped off

2 cloves fresh garlic, minced

2 - 3 T. red wine vinegar

1 T. extra virgin olive oil

salt and pepper to taste

water to par boil the beans

Directions:
Directions:
Boil a full pot of water with salt, slowly place string beans in boiling water, bring to a boil for 4 minutes, remove from heat and starin beans - place back in pan, pour vinegar and oil, minced galric and salt & pepper, mix up with tongs and eat.

hot or cold, these beans are like candy if you like fresh veggies, crunchy and delicious, I got this from my Italian Farmer friends in New Jersey - they are a simple, fresh recipe you may find yourself preparing often.
