6 oz. spaghetti
1 tbl. butter
2 eggs, well beaten
1 cup Ricotta Cheese
1 lb. ground beef or Italian sausage
1 tsp oregano
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 8 oz. can tomatoes, cut up
1 8oz. can tomato paste
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Cook the spaghetti according to package directions, drain 3 cups. Stir butter into hot spaghetti. Stir in Parmesan cheese and eggs. For spaghetti mixture into a "crust" in a buttered 10 in pie plate. Spread ricotta cheese over bottom of spaghetti crust.
In skillet cook ground beef or sausage, onion, green pepper until vegs. are tender and meat is browned. Drain off excess fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar,oregano and garlic salt. Heat thoroughly. Turn meat mixture into spaghetti crust. Bake uncovered at 350 for 20 minutes. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top. Bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese melts.

I have made this using my favorite spaghetti sauce out of a jar instead of can tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, garlic salt, oregano. May also leave out the onions and green pepper.
