Grasshopper Brownies Recipe

1 package fudge brownie mix
Filling:
1/2 c butter, softened
1 (3oz) package cream cheese (softened)
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. peppermint extract
Green food coloring
Frosting:
1 (6oz) package semi sweet chocolate chips
1/3 c. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Brownies: Bake per package instructions in 9x13 pan.
Cool completely.
Filling: in medium bowl beat 1/2 cup butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add remaining filling ingredients and beat until smooth. Spread evenly over cooled brownies. Refrigerate to chill.
Frosting;
In small saucepan melt frosting ingredients over low heat, stirring constantly, remove from heat and cool 15 minutes.
Pour over filling. Spread carefully to cover. Refrigerate 1 hour before cutting into bars.
