1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 unbeaten egg
1/3 c. peanut butter
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 c. rolled oats
1 large pkg. chocolate chips
TOPPING:
1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1/4 c. peanut butter
3 Tbs. milk

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream margarine, sugar and brown sugar.
2. Blend in egg, peanut butter, soda, salt and
vanilla.
3. Stir in flour and rolled oats.
4. Spread into greased 9" x 13" pan.
5. Bake at 350º for 20 min.
6. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate
chips. Let stand 5 min. Spread.
7. Combine confectioners sugar, peanut butter and
milk. Drizzle over chocolate. Cool.

I DO NOT like peanut butter! My mother always told me I was the hardest kid to pack a school lunch for because I would rather die than even smell peanut butter. I think Frank Zematis felt the same way about peanut butter ... until he tried these. This is the only way I will touch PB. Does it maybe have something to do with the whole bag of melted chocolate chips on top?
