6 egg yolks
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup flour
pinch of salt
5 to 6 cups milk
2 to 3 teaspoon vanilla
box of vanilla wafers
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except for vanilla and wafers. Cook over medium heat until it thickens.Then add vanilla. Layer cookies and bananas cut into slices in a bowl. Pour over filling over cookies and bananas.. Beat egg whites and add about 12 teaspoons of sugar to egg whites and a teaspoon of vanilla. Pour eggs whites over the filling and brown at 400º oven until golden brown.
