2 quarts water
1 quart vinegar (white)
1 cup sugar
1 cup salt

Bring to boil and then let stand until its cool. Use 5 to 6 quart jars that has been boiled including lids.
Pack each jar with cucumbers (whole or speared) then add one bunch of fresh dill in each jar. Fill each jar with vinegar mixture. Do not seal tight for 2 to 3 days.

L was very pleased that I was able to get some of my grandmothers recipes before she got sick. She was a wonderful cook and when I was a kid we went to grandmothers house every Sunday. She was a good women and she is missed by her family and friends.
