Cooking spray
29 ounce can tomato puree (Hunts works well)
29 ounce can crushed tomatoes (Progresso is good)
1/2 teaspoon (or so) sugar
1/2 can of water

Add the ingredients below to your desired taste:
salt
Pepper
Minced garlic
Chopped onion
Oregano
Parsley
Basil
Any kind of meat

Directions:
Directions:
Spray a large pot with cooking spray.

Saute salt, pepper, garlic, and onion until you smell them.

Add tomato puree and crushed tomato.

Stir in oregano, parsley, basil and sugar.

Add in meat and 1/2 can of water.

Simmer and stir occasionally. Cook at least 2 hours. Serve with pasta when done.

Gram did not give me measurements so I just estimate each time I make the sauce and it is always good!
