4 cups applesauce
2 Tbsp. rum flavoring
2 tsp. vanilla
2 - 1lb. jars fruit mix
4 cups nuts
2 tsp. baking powder
3 2/3 cups flour
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 lb. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt

Directions:

Set oven at 300. Combine butter, sugar, and spices. Add eggs and beat well. Add applesauce, rum, and vanilla. Sift flour, salt, and baking powder together. Fold in mix and nuts. Pour into greased floured angel food pan. Bake 2 1/2 - 3 hours.
