1 1/2 C sugar
3/4 C light brown sugar
1/2 C milk
3/4 stick of butter (6 T)
1 1/2 C pecans - roasted *optional
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and bring to a soft ball stage (238-240º) - stirring constantly.

Remove from heat. Stir until mixture thickens, becomes creamy and cloudy, add pecans.

Spoon out onto buttered wax paper, foil or parchment paper. Makes 10-50 pralines - depending on our spoon size. When using wax paper, be sure to buffer with newspaper underneath, as hot wax will transfer to whatever surface is underneath.

To roast pecans ahead of time:
Bake them on baking sheet at 275º for 20-25 minutes
