Soak bread in cream about 5 min
Cook onion in 1 T butter until tender
Mix meats, crumb mixture, onion, egg, parsley, salt, pepper, ginger, and nutmeg. Beat 5 min on medium speed or mix by hand until well combined
Shape into 1 1/2 " balls - for easy shaping chill mixture or wet hands
Brown meatballs in 2 T butter. Remove from skillet.
Melt 2 T butter in skillet with pan drippings. Stir in 2 T flour, add 1 beef bouillon cube dissolved in 1 1/4 C bolling water and 1/2 t instant coffee powder. Cook and stir till gravy thickens and bubbles.
Add meatballs to gravy and cook slowly for 30 minutes
Makes 30 meatballs
Serve over hot buttered egg noodles and with vegetable
