Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 lb ground beef and 1/4 lb ground pork mixed together
1/3 c onion, chopped
1 tbsp shortening
1/2 c cracker crumbs
1/2 c milk
1 tsp cornstarch
1 egg
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt

Gravy:
3 beef bouillon cubes
3 c water
1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
3 bay leaves
5 tbsp flour

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion in shortening and add to meat. Mix together cracker crumbs, milk and cornstarch and add to meat.
Mix together egg, nutmeg, sugar, salt and add to meat. Shape into balls (about the size of a 50 cent piece) and brown. Remove from skillet and make gravy.

Gravy:
Blend flour in remaining fat in skillet. Add together the bouillon, water, lemon juice and bay leaves. Add to skillet, then add meatballs and cook slowly for 1 hour at 300º. Remove bay leaves.
