2 c. milk
1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt (dash)
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 square of chocolate or 2 tbsp. cocoa

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk. Mix flour, sugar cocoa and salt. Combine with hot milk and cook in double boiler 20 minutes, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Add egg yolks to hot mixture stirring constantly for 5 minutes. . Cool. Add flavoring. Pour into baked pastry shell and cover with meringue.
Meringue:
Beat 2 egg whites till frothy. Add 4 tbsp. sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla. Beat until egg whites form stiff peaks.
