1 pkg. Dry Yeast
1 tsp. Salt
1 Egg, beaten
1/2 c. Melted Shortening
4 1/2 c. Flour
1/2 c. Warm Water
1/4 c. Sugar
1 c. Tap Water
Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve Yeast (or 1 yest cake) in warm water. Add salt, sugar and stir. Then add beaten egg and 1-cup flour. Mex well. Then add melted shortening, tap water (warm, almost hot), and 3 1/2 cups flour. Mix well. Place in refridgerator about 1 hour. Make into rolls (no rolling) and let rise out of ice box for about 2 hours. Place on greased baking pan 1/2 inches apart. Bake in pre-heated oven 450º. Grease with butter just as they begin to brown.
