Peanut Butter Fingers Recipe

3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups 3 minute brand oats
1 1/2 cups flour

1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup (6 oz. pkg.) chocolate chips

Combine first eight ingredients and blend well. Stir in oats and flour. Press into a greased 11x15 inch baking pan. Bake at 325 for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned. Whip creamy peanut butter until fluffy. Spread over bars as they come from the oven. Sprinkle chocolate chips over top. Return to oven for 3 to 4 minutes or until chips are softened. Remove from oven and spread chips out. Cut into bars.
