Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb. butter or margarine, softened
2 lb. peanut butter
3 lb. powdered sugar
1 - 2 pkgs. (24 oz.) almond bark

Directions:
Directions:
Work softened butter and peanut butter together until well mixed. Work in powdered sugar, a little at a time. This becomes very stiff and can be hard to stir.

Form into balls -- place on cookie sheet lined with wax paper and chill well -- several hours.

Melt almond bark according to package directions and dip into chocolate (I use a strong toothpick to dip them with - let toothpick stay in until partly dry and then gently remove) -- set on wax paper to dry. Store in refrigerator in air tight containers.

Personal Notes:
This makes a LOT -- feel free to cut the recipe in half. I introduced Ohio Buckeyes to people in Minn., Texas, Alaska, Nevada and California -- I never met anyone who didn't like them. I make these every Christmas. This is June Bug's original recipe.
