3 sq. unsweetened baking chocolate
3 cups sugar
2/3 cup light brown sugar
1 TBSP white corn syrup
1 1/3 cups evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 stick butter or margarine
1 cup nuts, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate and mix with sugars over low heat. Add 1 cup of the evaporated milk, cover and bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil for one minute. Remove cover and add 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Wipe sides of pan with damp cloth to remove any crystals. Cook over medium heat to 238 degrees or until forms soft ball in cold water. Add butter and cool to lukeqwarm. Add vanilla and beat til thickens and loses glossy look. Add nuts and pour in pan. May be cut immediately.
