8 lasagna noodles
1 ½ lb ground beef
¾ cup onions
2 (14oz) canned tomatoes with juice
5 ½ oz can tomato paste
1 cup cottage cheese
2 cups mozzarella cheese
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp parsley
½ tsp oregano
¼ tsp garlic
¼ tsp basil
1 ¼ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper

Prepare noodles – cook, drain and cool – break into bite size pieces. Brown beef and onions. Mix all ingredients together – stir. Cook on low 7-9 hours or on high for 3 ¼ - 4 ½. BE VERY CAREFUL, IF COOKED TO LONG NOODLES ARE MUSHY – not the best to leave while you’re at work.
