1 lb ground round
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 large onion, chopped
1 can tomatoes
1 can Veg-All
V8® 100% Vegetable Juice
1 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
8 or 9 cups water

Crumble meat in large boiler. Add chopped onions, salt and pepper and simmer in water that more than covers until meat and onions are cooked. Add tomatoes, Veg-All, V8 juice, chili powder, garlic salt, Worcestershire sauce and more water. Cook over low heat about an hour. Very good with corn bread.

I usually add more vegetables, such as a can of green beans, and sliced carrots. After we feast on it once, I freeze the rest in two serving portions. It makes a quick lunch or supper meal.
