2 c. sugar
½ c. milk
1 stick butter or oleo
3-4 tsp. cocoa
½ c. peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
2 ½ - 3 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1-2 tsp. vanilla
½ to 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar, milk, oleo and cocoa for 1 –1 1/2 minutes (start timing when mixture reaches full rolling boil). Remove from heat, add peanut butter, oatmeal, vanilla, and nuts. Beat until blended, then drop on wax paper by teaspoons. May add coconut or dates if desired.
