1/2c white sugar
1/2c shortening
2 eggs-beaten
1c sour cream
1c raisins or dates
1c black walnuts
21/2c flour
1/2t salt
1t soda
1t baking powder
1t vanilla

Mix in the order given. Drop by teaspoons on greased tins. Bake in a moderate oven.
