6 egg whites
1/2 tsp vanilla
1-1/2 tsp lemon juice
2 c sugar

Custard filling: 3/4 c sugar; 1-1/2 T flour; salt; 6 egg yolks; 6 T lemon juice; 1 small can crushed pineapple

Directions:
Directions:
Beat first four ingredients until very stiff. Grease 9x13-inch pan on bottom only. Bake one hour at 275- degrees. Turn off oven, leaving pan in oven for three hours longer.
Cook remaining ingredients until thick. Cool. Fold in 2 c whipped cream sweetened with 2 T powdered sugar. Spread on meringue and sprinkle with coconut and slivered almonds.
