1/2 pound crisply fried bacon
5 or 6 medium potatoes, cubed
2 or 3 carrots, sliced or cubed
2 cups elbow macaroni
1 onion
1 - #6 can whole kernel corn
1 can tomato juice

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot, boil potatoes, onion, and carrot until tender. Boil macaroni in smaller pot and set aside. Break bacon into small pieces. Combine all ingredients plus 3 tablespoons bacon drippings. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve with cornbread.

I would probably credit the recipe from Grandma to Grandma Godwin since Tiny had it and had taken such good care of it.
