3 to 5 lb chuck roast;
1 package Mrs Grass' Onion Soup;
1 can cream of muchroom soup

Directions:
Directions:
Pan fry for 1 minute on all sides of roast. This seals in the juices. Use heavy duty foil and put foil inside a heavy duty dutch oven / enough to completely wrap around roast . Put roast in the foil and then spoon the can of cream of mushroom soup all over top of roast. Sprinkle onion soup mix over the top. Wrap up foil over the roast tightly. Put lid on top of pot. Put in 400 degree oven for only 20 minutes. Then turn down oven to 325 for 2 to 3 hours, depending on the size of the roast. Remove roast from pan. Let sit for 10 minutes. Remove foil from pan. Use drippings to make gravy. Slice roast and put sliced roast back in gravy and put on top of stove over low heat. cover with lid. Cook over low heat for 30 minutes.
