1/2 c. oleo
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/3 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. oleo
1 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. milk
1/3 c. nuts
3/4 c. coconut

Pour water over oatmeal, cover, let stand 20 min.
Cream oleo, sugars, vanilla and eggs.Blend dry ingredients. Add oatmeal and dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Grease and flour a 9 x 12 baking dish. Pour into pan. Bake cake 350 for 50 min. Combine oleo sugar,milk,nuts and coconut.Spread over cake. Broil till bubbly. Check it so it doesn't burn.
