Cream together:
1/2 lb butter
2 cups sugar

Add 3 eggs and 1 pound ricotta cheese.

Mix well, then add:
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
4 cups flour
2 tsp vanilla

Drop on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

ICING - 1 box confectioners sugar
2 tbsp butter
1 small cream cheese
Cream well. Add enough milk for spreading.

You can add food coloring to icing. You can also add cocanut on the icing.
