2 c Herman starter
2 c flour
½ tsp soda
1 ¼ tsp cinnamon
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
½ tsp baking powder
1 c sugar
2/3 c oil
1 ½ c raisins
1 c chopped nuts



Topping
1tbsp flour
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ c butter
1 c brown sugar



Glaze
6 tbsp butter
½ c milk
1 c brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl combine Herman, flour, salt, soda, baking powder, cinnamon and sugar. Beat real well. Add eggs and oil. Mix thoroughly. Stir in nuts and raisins, pour into a greased and floured 9x13 pan or two 8x8 pans. Combine the topping ingredients and sprinkle over unbaked dough.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees. While cake is baking prepare glaze. Bring to boil over low heat and cook 5 minutes. Pour over cake as soon as taken from oven.
