"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Personal Notes:
This is how I remember my mother's meatloaf, although she didn't use the Italian bread crumbs. Sometimes she used tomato paste instead of sauce and she always put bacon strips over the meatloaf while cooking. I always double the recipe, because everyone likes it and Katie and I love cold meatloaf sandwiches on white bread!
