Ingredients:

1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 block butter or margarine
4 c. blackberries
1 c. sugar

Directions:

Melt 1 block of butter in 8x8 pyrex dish.

Mix 1 c. sugar, 1 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. baking powder and 1 c. of milk. Pour into pyrex dish with melted butter.

Mix well 4 c. blackberries and 1 c. sugar.
Pour on top of batter. Bake at 400º for 35 minutes.
