2 eggs, 1/2 c. butter, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 c. raisin juice, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1 heaping tsp. soda dissolved in 1 Tbl. hot water, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 c. walnuts, 3/4 tsp. cloves, 2 1/2 c. flour

Boil 1 cup raisins - 20 min. in enough water to make 1 cup raisin juice. Mix ingredients in order. Bake at 350 in a greased 9x13 pan. 35- 40 min.
Cool. Then frost with a powdered sugar frosting.
