1 3/4 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 large eggs yolks (save the whites), 4 Tbl. melted butter or shortening, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1 Tbl. sugar, 1 1/4 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients, add beaten egg yolks, milk, and shortening. Beat thoroughly. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
