1 1/2 c. flour, 3/4 c. milk, 1/4 c. butter 1 tsp. salt, 1 3/4 c. flour , 2 pkg. yeast, 1/2 c. water , 1/4 c. sugar, 1 egg 1 1/2 c. raw apples
Topping: 3/4 c. butter, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1 Tbl. corn syrup, 1 Tbl. water

In bowl mix the 1 1/2 c. flour and the yeast. Heat milk, butter, water and the salt until warm. Blend with the flour. Add the egg and beat 3 min. By hand stir in 1 1/3 c. flour. Cover and let rise 30 min. MIX topping in heavy sauce pan. Pour into 9x13 glass pan. Stir apples into batter and put the topping on the batter using Tbl. Bake at 375 for 15 min. Cool 1 min., invert pan.
