Ingredients:  
1 c. sugar 2 eggs, 3 Tbl. sour milk or 1/2 c. butter milk, 1 tsp. soda, 4 smashed bananas, 1/2 c. shortening, 2 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening, beat in eggs, add sour milk and bananas. Add and blend dry ingredients. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 until done.

hint when bread is done: Insert toothpick into the center of the loaf and pull out. If the toothpick comes out clean and no batter on the pick the banana bread is done.
