1 c. shortning, 2 eggs, 1 1/2 c. brown sugaar, 2 Tbl. warm water, 1 tsp. soda, 1 sp. vanilla 1 c. chocolate chips, 1 1/3 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 c. walnuts, 1 3/4 c. oatmeal
FRSTING: 2 Tbl. butter, 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, powdered sugar

mix 1st four ingredients then add the rest. Bake in greased 9x13 pan for 30 min. at 350. When making the frosting add enough powdered sugar until you reach as thick of frosting as you want. Frost while warm.
