8 med cucumbers 1/2 of a large bell pepper 1 tablespoon tumeric 1 1/4 cup of vinegar 2 large onions(white) 1/2 tablespoon cloves or spices 1/2 tablespoon mustard seed 2 tablespoons salt 1 1/2 cups sugar
Wash & slice cucumbers, chop bell pepper & onion, combine all ; let stand for 3 hrs. Combine sugar vinegar & spices in a large pot, bring to a boil. Add the drained cucumbers,onions, & bell pepper. Heat completely, but don't boil. Place them in jars while still hot.
