1/2 c. butter, melted
60 Ritz crackers, crushed
1 qt. ice cream, softened
2 (3 3/4 oz.) instant pudding
1 1/2 c. milk
8 oz. cool whip

Directions:
Directions:
Mix melted butter and crushed crackers. Cover the bottom of a 13 x 9 pan. Save 1/2 cup of the crackers for the topping. Mix the ice cream, pudding and milk together. Pour over crust. Chill. Next, top with the cool whip and remaining crushed crackers. Refrigerate.

A variety of ice cream and pudding can be used. choc/choc, van/choc, butter pecan/vanilla, etc. This recipe came from Betty Meyer in 1978.
