2 Cup brown sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 egg

1 Cup sour milk or buttermilk
1 teaspoon soda
2 cup flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cup cut rhubarb
1 pinch of salt

Topping
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
nuts if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first three ingredients together.
Add buttermilk soda, flour, vanilla, rhubarb, and salt.
Sprinkle the top with the mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
Put in cake pan 13X9X2 and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
