3/4 lb. round steak
2 T. soy sauce*
2 T. water*
1 T. sugar*
2 cloves minced garlic*
1/4 tsp. pepper*
1/3 C. water
1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
Pam
6 green onions cut into 1 inch pieces
1 1/2 C. fresh asparagus cut into 1 inch pieces
1 T. cooking oil
2 C. cooked rice

Directions:

Partially freeze beef. Cut on bias into bite-sized strips. In a small bowl, stir together starred ingredients. Add beef. Toss to coat. Let stand at room temperature for 1/2 hour. Stir together water and cornstarch. Spray a wok with Pam. Cook onions 1 1/2 minutes. Add asparagus. Cook 1 1/2 minutes. Remove. Add oil. Add beef mixture. Cook 3 minutes. Stir cornstarch mixture. Push meat from center of wok and pour in cornstarch mixture. Stir and cook until bubbly. Cook and stir meat for one more minute. Add onions and asparagus and stir to coat. Serve with rice.
