2 lbs. hamburger
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 large can of tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce (small)
medium sized shells, cooked

Mix all of the above in casserole. Bake 1 hour at 350. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.* (*I do this before baking, but that wasn't what the original recipe said.)

This is what we had when we drove up to visit Bryant and Jackie in Richmond, not long after they were married. I loved it and made mom get the recipe, and ever since then, we have called it "Jackie Stuff." It has always been a family favorite in my house, and we never call it anything but "Jackie Stuff."
