1 1/2 ground beef
1/4 pound of ground pork
(If possible, as the butcher to grind them together. If not,
hand mix as well as possible.)
1 C. fresh bread crumbs (white bread)
1 small onion
1 T. salt
1 C. tomato juice
1 C. milk
1 small can tomato sauce
1 C. water
2 T. brown sugar
2 T. vinegar
2 T. mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ground beef and pork, bread crumbs, egg, onion, salt, tomato juice and milk. Form into a loaf and put into a meatloaf pan. Cook in 375 oven for one hour.

While meat is cooking, make sauce:

Mix remaining ingredients well. After cooking the meatloaf for an hour, pour the sauce over the meatloaf and cook for 1 1/2 hours, basting several times.
