1 pkg. hamburger buns
1 lb. hamburger
2/3 of large block of Velveeta Cheese, melted
1 T. butter
2 lb. can chopped tomatoes
3/4 tsp. salt
pepper
1/4 tsp. onion salt
1/2 tsp. oregano

Directions:
Directions:
Brown and drain hamburger. Melt Velveeta cheese and butter together and add to hamburger. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Spoon over hamburger bun halves and brown under broiler for five minutes.

I got this recipe when I was 16 and went to Chicago to visit a pen pal. Barbara and I loved pizza burgers when we were in high school, but I can't even get my own kids to try it. If you can get them to go for it, it's a great easy thing to make!
