1 medium onion
1 lb. hamburger
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
2 small cans tomato paste
3 C. hot water
1 lb. lasagna noodles (can cook by package directions, or use the ones that don't have to be cooked before putting into oven)
1 lb. cottage cheese
1/2 lb. of mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Sauce: cook hamburger and chopped onion until the onion is clear and the hamburger is brown. Add salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, tomato paste and hot water. Bring to a boil and let cook for 30 minutes.

Place noodles and other ingredients into a lasagna pan (13x9x2) in layers, in this order:

1/2 of the lasagna noodles
1/2 of the cottage cheese
1/2 of the mozzarella cheese
1/2 of the sauce

Repeat layers, ending with sauce. Bake at 350 for 30 mimutes. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
