2 cups cooked and mashed pumpkin
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup vegatable oil or butter
1 egg
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
2 teaspoon baking soda
one cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Directions:

combine pumpkin, sugar,oil and egg... beat well

in separate bowl combine flour, salt, cinnamon,cloves, nutmeg and baking soda add to pumpkin mixture,,, mix well, stir in walnuts,,, bake in greased and floured 9 1/4 X 5 1/4 X 2 3/4 inch loaf pan.. bake 350 for one hour..
