1 stick butter 1 cup flour 1 t baking powder 1 qt. peaches (drained) 1 cup sugar 1 t salt ¾ cup milk ½ cup sugar
Melt butter in deep pan. Mix 1 cup sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and milk until smoother. Add melted butter. Pour in pan, ladle fruit over batter and sprinkle with sugar. Bake @ 350º for 30 minutes or until brown.
