2 cups granulated sugar
cup water
cup light corn syrup
1/8 t cream of tartar
flavored oil food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, water and corn syrup in 2-quart saucepan; stir till sugar dissolves. Cook to thread state (232) without stirring. Add cream of tartar; beat with wire whip till creamy. Add a few drops flavored oil and food coloring. Drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper forming patties. (Keep pan over hot water.) Store tightly covered. Makes about 60.
